WHAT WORKING WITH ME LOOKS LIKE
One system for Google and AI.
Ranking on Google and getting recommended by ChatGPT share a foundation, but AI search adds its own rules for measurement, structure, and authority. In 2026, both need to run together.
The 3Bs Flywheel is my proprietary methodology for working on both at once. It’s a loop I run every month, where each rotation builds on the last and compounds its effects.

Trusted by 20+ small businesses across legal, dental, and other professional services.
SEO is still important. But it’s only half the job.
Your customers still use Google. But they also ask AI tools like ChatGPT, which give them one answer instead of ten links. Optimizing for the first and ignoring the second means doing a good job on a shrinking share of how people find you.
- Rankings get measured. AI answers don’t. You might know you’re in position four for “emergency plumber near me.” But nobody’s checked whether ChatGPT names you when someone asks the same question.
- Ranking well isn’t the same as being recommended. On average, AI answers pull from four sources. Page one of Google may not get you into that set.
- Schema gets added once, then forgotten. A single technical pass isn’t optimization. Nothing is re-measured, so nothing improves.
- The work doesn’t compound. An SEO plan over here and an “AI thing” over there means each optimizes for its own metric, and neither makes the other stronger.
SEO fundamentals decide whether you can be found. They don’t decide whether you get cited — over 80% of AI citations come from pages that don’t rank in Google’s top 10. The AI SEO layer has its own rules for measurement, structure, and authority.
I run both together in three compounding stages that make up the 3Bs Flywheel:
What happens in each phase of the 3Bs Flywheel
Setup is the only part that doesn’t repeat. Once the tracking is built, it keeps running. From there, each phase hands something to the next. Benchmark shows what moved, Blueprint works out why and what to do about it, and Build ships it. In the next month, Benchmark measures whether it worked, and the cycle keeps repeating.

Each step is connected by a downward arrow.](https://i0.wp.com/inesstavares.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/3bs-flywheel-phase0-goal-to-tracking-1.webp?resize=600%2C600&ssl=1)
PHASE 0 · ONCE
Setup
Before I start changing things, I need to know what success looks like for your business. Otherwise, six months down the line, you can have plenty of SEO data and still not know whether it made a difference.
Setup gives me that baseline. I work backwards from what you want more of — whether that’s bookings, enquiries, or better-fit clients — then make sure I can measure it properly. I also check that your website is technically sound and that nothing is stopping search engines from accessing it properly.
PHASE 1 · EVERY MONTH
Benchmark
Once I have a starting point, I need to know what’s changing, and, more importantly, whether those changes matter to your business.
Each month, I look at what happened across Google and AI search and explain it in plain English. That means you don’t have to stare at a dashboard wondering what an increase in branded searches or CTR means.
I look at the search and AI results that matter to spot problems and opportunities.

PHASE 02 · EVERY MONTH
Blueprint
Knowing that something isn’t working is only half the job. I need to know why.
If your business isn’t appearing for an important search, for example, the problem might be a technical issue, the competition, or simply that Google and AI tools are looking for something different. Each needs a different response. Blueprint is where I work that out before you spend time and money fixing the wrong thing.
I turn those findings into a prioritized plan to tackle the most impactful tasks.
PHASE 03 · EVERY MONTH
Build
This is where the work gets done. The fixes, improvements, and content creation happen as part of the monthly service. That might mean sorting out a technical problem, improving an existing service page, creating something that’s missing, or building up the signals that help Google and AI tools trust and recommend your business.
The aim is to turn the findings from the previous phases into changes that can improve your visibility and bring in more of the right people.

Why work with me?

I grew up around small businesses — my mom, dad, and stepdad each ran one — and now I run my own. One thing hasn’t changed since I was a kid: you need customers to find you.
What’s changed is where they look. Today it’s Google and, more and more, AI tools like ChatGPT. I make sure you show up in both.
And because I’ve sat on your side of the table, I work the way I’d want someone to work for me: directly, in plain language, and without wasting your money.

As much or as little as you like. After setup, you can be completely hands-off, and your only time commitment is reading the monthly report (plus the monthly strategy call on Complete). That said, answering a few questions from me makes the content and strategy much stronger. You can reply by email or send a voice note, whichever is easier.
It shows how your visibility on Google and in AI answers is changing, and what that means for your business, including what’s working, what isn’t, and why. You’ll also get a list of everything done that month, with links. For example, new content, optimized pages, Reddit posts, directory listings, and anything else done that month. Plus the plan for the following month.
We start with setup. I’ll need your help getting access to your website and to tools like Google Analytics and Search Console. Then I set up SEO and AI tracking, audit your site (technical, content, SEO, and AEO), build a content inventory, and turn the findings into a prioritized plan. The rest of the month goes into the work your plan includes.
